Column chemistry flatters or punishes a figure like this. A core-shell column at this gradient resolves the close-eluting family that a fully porous 5 µm bed merges, so 99.82 % here is a harder number than the same figure from a coarser column.

At 214 nm the amide bond dominates the response, so a peptide impurity is seen roughly in proportion to its size. 99.82 % on this detection is the conservative reading; a 280 nm trace would flatter it.
