Epimerisation during activation produces a diastereomer that is mass-identical and only chromatographically separable. At this gradient length the separation exists, and 99.93 % is net of it.

A retest date on the certificate would tell you what the supplier is actually asserting about stability. Purity at 99.93 % on assay day is a starting condition, not a shelf life.
